The Cobra Club of Hawaii is an informal group of dedicated car enthusiasts who love their thunderous four-wheel tributes to Carroll Shelby. In 1962 Carroll Shelby created a racing legacy by installing a big American Ford V-8 into a small English AC roadster. Right from its debut, the 289 Cobra wreaked havoc on Europe’s seemingly invincible stronghold in racing. And in the mid-60’s the 427 Cobra exploded into the car scene with its a massive big block engine and bulging muscular fenders. It’s this assault on the senses that draws car lovers to Cobras.
